Florida Highway Patrol attended a deadly, single-vehicle crash that killed an 18-year-old girl in a Lehigh Acres neighborhood on Wednesday evening.
According to the officials, three teenage girls were in a car traveling southbound on Maple Street N., just north of East Penn Road.
The car had a 15 years old driver and also a passenger who was 17 years old.
The 18-year-old was riding on the outside of the car on top of the trunk. She fell off the vehicle and into the road on Maple Street. She was admitted to the hospital and died of her injuries.
The crash is currently being investigated.
