Ford Fiesta ST to cost £16,995 in the UK

by SpeedLux

Ford has just revealed the pricing details for the new Fiesta ST hot hatch. The car is set to compete with the Renault Clio RS, as well as the upcoming Peugeot 208 GTi, despite being down 20 hp from both of them.

With the UK price for the Fiesta ST declared, for that money we can get a well-equipped ST1 model, with 17-inch alloys, tinted windows, sports Recaro seats, digital DAB radio as well as Bluetooth connectivity.

For a thousand bucks more one can get a better-equipped range topper, the ST2, which adds part-leather upholstery, LED daytime running lights, climate control, uprated Sony sound system and keyless start and go.

Motivation will come from a 1.6-liter EcoBoost turbocharged petrol engine, the Fiesta ST will run from 0-100 km/h or 0-62 mph in 6.9 seconds, before achieving a top speed of 218 km/h, or 136 mph. It is also expected to return over 40 UK mpg, and emit just 138 g/km of CO2.

Orders have already started pouring in for the car and deliveries are expected to follow soon.

Since we have few details about the car, only a bit more information needs to be revealed. So Stay tuned and enjoy the picture gallery.
