4 killed in a crash in Cicero, Illinois

Four people were killed in a fatal car crash early Saturday morning in Cicero, Illinois.

According to Cicero police, a grey Jeep Grand Cherokee with the four people inside was moving east on Roosevelt Road around 3 a.m. when it veered off the road into the corner of a three-story brick building close to Central Avenue.

Police said when officers attended the scene, the car was engulfed in flames.

Officers were able to take out three of the individuals from the car.

All four individuals were declared dead at the scene.

Residents who live in the apartments in the damaged site said the crash shook the building and damaged the interior walls.

Three of the four victims have been identified as 23-year-old man Corey D. Williams of Chicago, 24-year-old woman Anquanisha Murdock of Chicago and 23-year-old man Julsuf Fleming of Chicago.

The driver of the vehicle has not been revealed yet.

The incident is currently being investigated.
