Kentucky man charged with DUI after hitting a Quincy Police car

A man from Louisville, Kentucky was issued a DUI on Thursday after he hit a Quincy Police car, according to a Quincy Police Crash Report.

The report noted that Brandon Gravatte of Louisville, was traveling the incorrect way on North 4th Street, a one-way street, when he passed a Quincy Police officer who was at the intersection of North 4th Street and Vermont.

The report noted the officer turned on his lights and pursued Gravatte who did not stop but swerved and sideswiped the police vehicle.

The Quincy Police reported they later found Gravatte in the 300 block of Maiden Lane in Quincy.

Police records show Gravatte has been charged with Driving Under the Influence of Alcohol, Wrong Way on a One Way, Leaving the Scene of a Property Damage Accident, Operate Uninsured Vehicle, and Resisting a Peace Officer.
