Lamborghini Indomable Study Merges Gallardo and F-22 Fighter Into One

by Alex

Indomable is the name given to the Lamborghini design study that has been carried out by two studenst named Daniel Chinchilla Ochoa and Alberto Fernandez Albilaresat the Scuola Politecnica di Design in Milan.

The duo of Ochoa and Albilares had been given the task of creating the design study by Filipo Perini, head of Lamborghini Centro Stile and designer Alessandro Salvagnin. They were to base their study on the existing Lamborghini Gallardo’s wheelbase.

The main inspiration though for the two design students has been the F22 Raptor which is one of the latest generation fighter planes. The car has the Y shaped glass engine bay cover and the tail light assembly which also acts as the rear wing.

Ochoa started his design life with aftermarket serokits form Volkswagen. Then he went on to Ford and then to designing busses at Mexico which incidentally is his homeland. He also did some stint at the Lamborghini Centro Stile where he worked for six months and that after he finished his masters at the Scoula Politecnica di Design.
