Lincoln MKZ HYBRID Rated At 45 MPG.

Lincoln the automotive luxury brand of Ford Motor Company, Lincoln vehicles are currently sold mostly in North America. Its current U.S. lineup includes two sedans (MKS and MKZ), two crossovers (MKT and MKX) and one SUV (Navigator). Ford plans to expand the brand to seven different models by 2015 including selling these in China’s rapidly expanding Luxury car market.

The all new MKZ Hybrid, according to the EPA, now delivers more mpg, than any other luxury vehicle in the U.S., with certificate showing 45 mpg across, City, Highway, and Combined.

“The all-new MKZ Hybrid proves that thoughtful customers who prioritize fuel economy and reducing emissions do not need to compromise on luxury, driving quality or advanced technology,” said Jim Farley, group vice president, Global Marketing, Sales and Service. “MKZ is our strongest proof yet on what the reinvented Lincoln stands for – beautiful vehicles with compelling and warm experiences that create a clear alternative in today’s increasingly competitive luxury marketplace.”

The ratings put the Lincoln MKZ ahead of its competitors in the luxury midsize sedan market, with more of 5 mpg city and 6 mpg highway ahead of Lexus ES 300h, ahead of Infiniti M35h by 18 mpg city and 13 mpg, and ahead of BMW ActiveHybrid 3 by 20 mpg city and 16 mpg highway. And additionally, the new Lincoln MKZ Hybrid is 2 mpg city and 5 mpg highway, better than the smaller Lexus CT 200h. The 2013 Lincoln MKZ Hybrid also is more fuel efficient than Audi, BMW and Mercedes-Benz diesel vehicles.

Taking a look at the pricing details, the new Lincoln MKZ Hybrid is put up at the same price as equal to the non-hybrid model, and this will be a boon to all those customers looking out for Luxury midsize sedan, giving them a choice of top fuel economy with a value which is worthy enough.

All hybrids never offer such powered models to the buyers like Lincoln Motors have been doing, and this helps the buyers to customize their own Lincoln’s. the standard items on the Lincoln MKZ features, SYNC with MyLincoln Touch with 8-inch touch screen, premium leather-trimmed seats (heated front seats), class-exclusive LED headlamps, 18-inch premium painted wheels and Lincoln Drive Control, Continuously Controlled Damping (CCD) adjustable suspension, electric power-assisted steering (EPAS) and Active Noise Control (ANC).
