Maserati planning second smaller SUV?

by SpeedLux

In the latest coverage, we hear that Maserati, is planning to launch a new crossover which will be similar in size to the Audi Q5 and the upcoming Porsche Macan and this will be a direct rival to the two models and to other vehicles in the segment too, which clearly indicates that the Trident marque is showing no sign of slowing down.

The reports stated that, the latest crossover would be based on the same platform that underpins the Alfa Giulietta and Dodge Dart. It is also expected that the smaller SUV from the Italian company, would ride on a longer wheelbase Compact U.S Wide platform, developed by Fiat.

Additional details on the model are limited for the moment but initial rumors were saying that the carmaker is planning to sell about 20,000 units of its crossover annually, anyway stay tuned in, and don’t forget to take a look at the Maserati Kubang Concept in the pictures.
