McLaren will launch the Sports Series in the spring season of 2015. It is termed as the rival of Porsche 911. The new model was earlier termed as P13 by its code name but now gets a badge of the sports series by McLaren. As per the picture published by the company, the car looks like the P1 hyper car in style.

Sport Series is also referred as a Pure McLaren by the company and is about to join the range of 650S super car. While the technical details about the car are not yet available, it is known that the new model will follow the style and architecture of the 650S and the P1 models. With the carbon fiber chassis and a mid mounted twin turbo V8 engine, and a carbon tub that is modified for the shorter wheel base, the Sports Series model by McLaren will be lightest car in its category.
