Mercedes-Benz has recently revealed the pricing details for the A 45 AMG to be sold in the UK market. The deliveries are expected to start in August this year.
The base model would come with a price tag of 37,845 GBP and for an additional 1,530 GBP the car can be fitted with 氟he AMG Aerodynamics package which includes a bigger front splitter with extra flics, along with an AMG rear aerofoil for additional downforce. If one can spend 510 GBP, the car can be configured with an AMG Performance Exhaust that has four chrome tailpipes.
The hatchback comes fitted with a 2.0-liter four-cylinder turbocharged engine generating an output of 360 HP (265 kW) at 6,000 rpm and a peak torque of 332 lb-ft (450 Nm) available between 2,250 and 5,000 rpm. The A-Class AMG will be able to accelerate to 0-62 mph (0-100 kmph) in just 4.6 seconds and will come with an electronically-capped top speed of 155 mph (250 kmph). The mill would be connected to Speedshift DCT seven-speed sports transmission and the 4MATIC system.
The car can return 40.9 mpg UK (34 mpg US or 6.9 liters / 100 km) in the combined cycle with CO2 emissions of 161 g/km.
