The 2016 Mazda MX-5 Miata is one of the most popular sports cars for the new generations. The fourth generation convertible is a small two seat car equipped with a 2.0 liter engine. The 2016 Mazda MX-5 Miata has a lesser peak horsepower rating but it is able to generate a maximum torque of 8 lb. ft. compared to the current model. The 2016 Mazda MX-5 Miata is available in a 6 speed manual or automatic transmission system.

The new Mazda MX-5 Miata weighs about 2,332 pounds, which is about 150 pounds lighter compared to the third generation model. It offers increased crash protection. The double wishbone suspension system enables the car to move up and down without making changes to the angel of the tire.

The driving position has been lowered to improve the weight distribution of the car. The new driving position enables the car to travel at a straighter path as you steer the car with the steering wheel. The steering wheel features an assist motor system that will offers optimal road feel and feedback. The new driving position also enables the driver can see the front bumper better. Other improvements include a larger windshield and lower hood.
