The new Renault Koleos Facelifted: Final Price and Details

Renault Koleos is fighting in Europe for the favor of the buyer since 2008, with moderate success, but now the carmaker is optimistic about its new model.

As the name implies, the front was it special attention: the compact-SUV had a chrome grille and headlamps blinking also cut out small. In the housings of the exterior mirrors now have LED indicator housed. New rims and the first available exterior color orange Kalahari complete range of optical modifications to the exterior. Inside, announce minor details such as the speedometer with new housing, a new display or pimped padding of the completed model of care.

Under the hood of the new Koleos either operates a 171-hp 2.5-liter gasoline engine (from € 28 990) or a diesel engine with 150 (from € 28 990) or 173 hp (from € 34 490). The diesel engine has displacement of two liters and can also be ordered as a four-wheel drive with front drive in the small version with both. There’s only the two more powerful engines than 4×4 variant. Through revisions to the engine and gearbox, Renault has taught the diesel engines more efficient: The smaller diesel will now emit 148 grams with a total of 19 grams of CO2 per 100 kilometers less than its predecessor. In the stronger variant of the CO2 emissions fell by eight grams to 166 grams per 100 kilometers.

As standard model, the Koleos including a keyless entry and start system, dual-zone automatic climate control and a light and rain sensor on board. In addition, a Bose sound system and a controllable via the joystick navigation is to be had. The all-wheel drive variant always has a hill descent and hill start assist assistants on board. Market launch in October 2011, can be ordered now.
