New York Auto Show: Custom car catches fire

by SpeedLux

When an electrical fire triggered a Porsche 911 Turbo to be swallowed up in flames, things heated up at the New York Car Show on Thursday.

Video of the event was published to Instagram by expert photographer Vlad Shurigin.

A car event spokesperson informed Fox News that the fire was put out in “literally seconds”.

It took place in the Special Exhibits hall in the smaller level of the Jacob K. Javitz Convention Center in Manhattan, where a customized automobile reveal arranged by Dub Magazine was being formed. The occasion had not been yet opened to the general public, and there was no added damage to other automobiles or locations of the event.
