The Mercedes-AMG E63 is a standard saloon car equipped with a powerful engine. The new Mercedes-AMG E63 will have a more powerful engine than Mercedes AMG GT which has a maximum power output of 510 bhp. Engineers are trying to boost the power output of the Mercedes AMG GT to 600 bhp. The 2016 Mercedes-AMG E63 will be using a 4MATIC all wheel drive system instead of a rear wheel drive system according to Tobias Moas, the boss of Mercedes AMG. This is because it is tested to run faster in all wheel drive system rather the RWD.

The Mercedes-AMG E63 is powered by a 4.0 litre twin turbo V8 engine that can generate a maximum power output of 557 bhp. The engine is faster than other sports cars such as Audi RS6 and BMW M6. This is the first time a standard saloon car will have a power output close to the 600 bhp range. It is also the first car to be equipped with a 9 speed automatic transmission. It will be lighter compared to the first AMG model. It is not yet known when the E63 will enter into the market. However, it is expected that the car will be on sale to consumers in 2016. The car will be debuted at the Detroit motor show in January 2016.
