Nissan has recently announced that they are going to start marketing the Qashqai in America as a smaller version of the strong-selling Rogue. The British-built crossover is offered in Europe with two diesels and a 113-hp 1.2-liter gasoline-powered four. A 161-hp 1.6-liter gas four-cylinder recently joined the lineup. There are many similarities between the Qashqai and the Rogue but the Qashqai rides on a 2-inch-shorter wheelbase and is 10 inches trimmer in length. Nissan is also planning to discontinue its Rogue Select in order to make room for the Qashqai in America and the current model of the Rogue is going to feature forward emergency braking, a motion-activated power rear liftgate, and Siri Eyes Free telematics for 2016, and much more.
