Confirmed: McLaren is not building a 2+2 supercar

by Alex

There was news that McLaren is up to developing a 2+2 supercar based on the MP4-12C. We even came to know it would be named MP4-12 GT. However, the latest news has it that all of that was nothing but vaporware.

And the confirmation comes from none other than Mr. Mark Harisson, the PR chief of McLaren who said in clear terms that McLaren is in no way involved in building a 2+2 supercar . “We are only planning ‘pure’ high performance sports cars — two seats, mid-engine.” Said Harisson.
