Porsche 918 Spyder to break records

by SpeedLux

It seems that the Porsche 918 Spyder can lap the tracks of the Nürburgring even faster than the already record breaking time of 6 minutes 57 seconds.

Well known car driver Marc Lieb who had proved that the Porsche 918 Spyder has what it takes to become the quickest legal car of the world to lap the tracks of the Nürburgring, achieving an impressive time of 6 minutes and 57 seconds which also makes it the first car to lap the track in a sub-seven time.

Marc Lieb is a four-time Nürburgring 24-hour race winner and has hinted in an interview to one of the TV channels that there is further room for improvement to lower the time even further for the 918 Spyder. There are already some reports that are indicating that a 918 Spyder fitted with racing slicks lapped the famous German circuit in a time of just 6 minutes and 48 seconds which is nothing less than impressive.

Well this would surely create some ripple in the minds of the other automakers and so we can very soon expect a response from the McLarens and Ferraris with their latest super cars which would lap in lesser time and compete with Porsche.
