Report: Mitsubishi entry-level sedan coming in 2015

by SpeedLux

Mitsubishi is reportedly developing an entry-level sedan that could be unveiled in the United States somewhere in the year 2015.

Not much detail is available as of now about the model, but the Mitsubishi dealers were reportedly shown renderings of the car during the regional meetings held in the last month. However the company declined to elaborate further but they said to the Automotive News that they are looking into introducing a small, entry-level sedan to the United States market.

Nothing is official about the model, but the entry-level sedan could be a production version of the G4 concept which was recently launched at the Bangkok Motor Show. The company has confirmed plans to build a production version and will be offered globally and it appears that this is the mysterious sedan.

As previously reported, the G4 concept had a high-tensile steel body and a 1.2-liter MIVEC engine that was connected to a continuously variable transmission.
