Review: Ferrari FF, the ferocious all-wheel-drive hatchback

by SpeedLux

The Ferrari FF is on the road to lure new kind of customers, those comfortable four passengers who does not want to worry along with their luggage about mortals and landing the wheels up in a ditch.

According to the company, Ferrari FF has got a shooting-brake design body that is just few inches less than the body of Ford Explorer. Even Toyota Camry does not have so much of trunk space as this car boasts, and that too just behind the four leather-lined seats which can even fit adults. This is one of the main USPs of FF and it speaks the balance sheet of Ferrari.

Ferrari FF
starts at $295,000. It is equipped with direct-injected 6.2-liter, V-12 engine providing 651 horsepower with 8,000 revolutions per minute. It makes 504 pound-feet of torque at 6,000 revolutions per minute. It has dial on the steering wheel for additional safety, letting drivers opt either from snow, wet, comfort and sport electronically enhanced driving modes.

It comes with dual-clutch transmission that rips off easily and smoothly rapid-fire shifts. The 8,000-rpm does not scare the gearbox even in full automatic mode.

The car is surely a trend setting for the next evolution with odd mix.
