Revived Iialian manufacturer ATS announces third model the 300 Leggera

by SpeedLux

ATS has now unveiled the 300 Leggera which is its third model after the Sport 1000 and 2500 GT shown in 2012.

Italian automaker ATS was brought back to life last year and now they are presenting their third model called as 300 Leggera. The model is considered to be homage to the typical Italian small sports cars of the 50s and 60s era. The “300” moniker is a reference to the model’s power-to-weight ratio of 300 hp / ton in a car without any electronic aids such as traction control and EBD.

The ATS 300 Leggera comes equipped with a 1.6-liter turbocharged engine generating an output of 200 hp (149 kW) in a body and it weighs just 650 kg (1,433 lbs). The company claims that each car will be custom-built as per the customer’s specifications.

The pricing of 300 Leggera starts off from 30,000 while the deliveries of the models are expected to start next year in European and American markets.

As of now the details are limited about the model but we have to say that after coming back to life ATS is doing a pretty fair job and we expect more such news coming from the re-born company.
