Rolls-Royce Phantom Converted into Hearse by Funeral Service Company

by SpeedLux

For most people out there, even though they may know very little about cars, they must still know that a Rolls-Royce is not just a vehicle like any other. It’s a brand of luxury. However, things may not be the same with a particular funeral service company called the A.W.Lymn The Family Funeral Service. The company in question has just converted a Rolls-Royce vehicle into a hearse for the sake of its funeral services.

Yet, what is even more surprising is the fact that this is barely the first time the company has done this. Honestly speaking, apart from the Rolls-Royce it has just converted, the company has no less than thirty nine vehicles, all of which either come from Rolls-Royce or Bentley. Well, speaking of the Phantom mentioned earlier, it turned out that the conversion work was carried out by the Biemme Special Cars, an Italian company that specializes in such a service. Back in the year 2012, it handled a project similar to this as well.

Nonetheless, one thing seems to be ironic about the Rolls-Royce Phantom that the aforementioned Italian company has transformed into a hearse. It has its suicide doors left intact. Apart from that, however, the car has been treated with black paint job and two variants of silver hues on the body. When it comes to the interior, the car features piano black veneers, leather decoration and also matching set of carpets. Well, for those that wonder about the coffin compartment, the vehicle provides leather, crystal glass with polished stainless steel finishing and well-designed illumination system. As if all those aren’t enough, there is also a portable microphone, automatic coffin platform and rear door.

Unfortunately, there is no exact word in respect to the price that such a vehicle costs. Nevertheless, an eye-watering price of 500,000 Euros should be worthy for the converted 2012 Rolls-Royce Phantom.
