TagAZ Aquila enters production

TagAZ Aquila

The TagAZ Aquila has entered the production phase and will soon be available for taking orders.

The four-door coupe has entered the order books and has so far received several responses. Initially it will be offered primarily with a 1.6 liter 16v engine producing 107 HP (79 kW) connected to a 5-speed manual gearbox. There is a possibility that it will also be available with 150 HP (110 kW) and maybe an automatic transmission.

It carries a price tag of 415,000 rubles (about 10,625 EUR / 14,000 USD / 8,900 GBP) and comes as standard with ABS, air conditioning, power steering, front airbags, electric parking brake and sound system. The car would initially be sold in Russia only since there is a major hassle involved in selling it outside Russia.
If the Company officials plan to sell outside Russia they would have to make in-depth changes and add more safety equipment which would make it even more costlier and less desirable than previously thought.

So finally we have come to know that the car is entering production. Let us wait till the sale starts and in the meantime let us go through the pictures.
