Tesla Model S loses all of its chrome

by SpeedLux

One of the owners of a Tesla Model S decided to give his car a more controlled look by getting rid of all the stock chrome touches.

The owner asked the California-based Al & Ed’s Autosound to make the required changes to its Telsa Model S and so they have done it as instructed with all chrome surfaces now hidden under a 3M satin black film which was also utilized for the lower rear diffuser.

In addition to the above, all the standard lower body trim pieces have been painted in the same color as the rest of the car, including the nose cone. The only shiny part left in the whole car is the license plate frame but that also we believe was only for marketing purposes and most likely it is going to be replaced by a non-glossy unit.
