Three killed after car crash on I-75 in Laurel County

Three people were killed in Laurel County on Monday night after a head-on crash on interstate 75.

The crash took place around 11 p.m. near the exit 38 overpass on I-75 when a Toyota Tacoma pickup truck was heading northbound in the southbound lanes and it hit a Nissan Altima with three occupants.

All three occupants in the Altima died, according to London Police Department.

The driver of the pickup truck had serious injuries and was hospitalized.

The victims have been identified as Deshawn Love, the driver of the Altima, and passengers Kevin Criglear and Alihya Dukes. All three were 25 years old and from the Chicago.

21-year-old Joshua Poore of Clovis was driving the pickup truck.

The interstate was closed for some hours after the crash.
