Three killed after multi-vehicle crashes in Richardson

Three people were killed after multiple crashes on North Central Expressway in Richardson, Texas, on Wednesday morning.

The officers responded to the crash in the 3700 block of North Central Expressway at around 5 a.m.

The crash took place when the driver of the Honda motorcycle and the driver of a Suzuki motorcycle were traveling northbound when they struck into each other.

Both drivers were ejected from their motorcycles and landed in the lanes of traffic.

The drivers were admitted to the hospital where one succumbed to injuries.

The crash involved four vehicles. A tanker truck and Toyota sedan tried to avoid the accident and collided with each other.

The driver of the sedan was pronounced dead at the scene.

The driver of the tanker truck was not injured.

While the police were investigating the accident in the 3700 Block of North Central Expressway, they were also informed about another crash in the 2000 block of North Central Expressway.

In this crash, the driver of a Toyota pickup was driving in the HOV lane when his vehicle was struck by a Honda Accord that changed lanes from the left lane into the HOV lane.

After that, both vehicles crashed with Honda Civic.

The driver of the Honda Accord was admitted to the hospital and pronounced dead there.

The other two drivers were alright.

Richardson Police Department is investigating the crashes.
