Three killed after one-car crash in Sarasota, Florida

Three people were killed after a one-vehicle crash on Sunday morning in Sarasota, Florida.

The crash took place on Tuesday when the vehicle was westbound on Myrtle Street and it entered the roundabout at Old Bradenton Road at a high rate of speed around 12:30 a.m.

The vehicle after that went over the roundabout, through a fence, and struck a tree head-on.

Sarasota Police said the trio, two females and one male were friends visiting each other in the area.

They all died due to the crash.

The crash is under investigation by Sarasota Police.
