Three killed after vehicle crash on I-20 in Big Spring

Three people were killed in a vehicle crash involving a school bus and a pickup truck on Interstate 20 Friday in Big Spring, Texas.

The crash took place in the eastbound lanes of the highway near mile marker 179.

One of the victims was the driver of a Ford F-350 that crashed with the Andrews ISD bus.

Two adults who were aboard the school bus were dead in the crash.

About 11 students and another adult on the bus were admitted to a hospital in Big Spring.

The Texas Department of Public Safety is investigating the crash.

Governor Greg Abbott lamented the crash. He said: “Our hearts go out to those who were injured or lost their lives in the bus crash in Big Spring, and we grieve for the families of those taken too soon.”
