Three men were killed and about six others were injured following a multi-car crash in Winnetka, Los Angeles on Sunday evening.

Firefighters with Los Angeles Fire Department responded to the three-car crash around 9 p.m. in the 19700 block of Vanowen Street.

Three people were pronounced dead at the scene.

Six others suffered potentially serious injuries, but they were in stable condition.

Two men who died were both 30 years old, while the third one was 25.

Their identities were not released.

The crash took place when a Ford Explorer was traveling eastbound on Vanowen, and the driver lost control because of its speed when the car passed through a dip in the road at Corbin Avenue.
