Three teenagers killed after car hits tree in Lincoln Parish, Louisiana

Three teenagers died after their car went off-road and hit a tree in Lincoln Parish, Louisiana.

A 19-year-old, identified as Lajermanique Nichols, was driving on Works Road around 3:45 p.m. on Monday when he lost control of his vehicle, traveled off the road and hit a tree.

Deputies said Nichols was taken out from the vehicle and was pronounced dead at the scene. Two other passengers identified as 17-year-old Lajavion Nichols and 16-year-old Javious Holden, were pronounced dead as well.

Another passenger 18-year-old Edward Kary, was taken to a hospital with life-threatening injuries.

The three killed in the crash were not using their seatbelts at the time of the crash, according to Louisiana State Police.
