Tomball city manager Robert Hauck dies in a single car crash

Robert S. Hauck, Tomball’s city manager, was died in a single-vehicle crash on Saturday in Waller County, Texas.

The Tomball Police Department announced Hauck’s death on Saturday. Hauck served as the department’s police chief from 2008 to 2014.

He then worked as assistant city manager from 2014 to 2018 before he was selected as the city manager in 2018.

Hauck leaves behind his wife, Kathleen, and three children, Lauren, Madeline and Conner.

“Rob Hauck will be missed dearly by all,” Tomball PD stated.

Tomball ISD wrote on Twitter: “We are saddened by this news as Rob Hauck was such a positive light in our school community. He was an advocate of @TomballISD and was always willing to go above & beyond for our district. Our thoughts and prayers are with the Hauck family. He will be truly missed.”
