Toyota releases video in respect of iconic test driver Hiromu Naruse

by Alex

Hiromu Naruse is the most revered Master Test Driver in the Toyota family. This fact is well known to all car followers and specifically Toyota fans.

It was as an accountant that Hiromu had entered the Toyota Company. He displayed his knack to develop and build sports cars which was soon noticed by people who mattered. He has been responsible for building every sports car from Toyota for the past 47 years. He is also responsible for the making of the Lexus LF-A which was the latest work of art from him.

It was while driving this masterpiece that Naruse met with an accident that was fatal for him. Toyota had named him the “NurMiester” and in his loss the company lost a friend, a brother, a hero, and an icon.

A short video has been released by Toyota in his honor that depicts his record of being the driver who has logged the most number of hours at the Nurburgring.
