Two dead after car crash on 710 Freeway, in El Sereno

Two men were killed after an SUV crashed on an off-ramp from the northbound Long Beach (710) Freeway in California.

The crash took place about 1:40 a.m. where the 710 terminates at Valley Boulevard.

The victims have been identified as David Ayala, 20, and Joel Frias, 25, both from Los Angeles, were pronounced dead at the scene.

The crash took place when a white SUV struck a fence and wall.

The crash is being investigated by California Highway Patrol.
