Two dead after two-car crash near Milwaukee Mitchell airport

Two people were killed after a two-car crash around 3 a.m. on Saturday in the 1400 block of West Layton Avenue, Wisconsin

The crash took place when a vehicle was traveling east on West Layton Avenue, near Milwaukee Mitchell International Airport, when it crossed the median and crashed with a westbound vehicle. 

A 29-year-old Milwaukee man was driving the eastbound vehicle. He suffered serious injuries and succumbed to his injures in hospital. His passenger, a 30-year-old woman, died due to the crash.

The occupants of the westbound car had minor injuries.

Milwaukee Police Department is investigating the crash.
