Two dead in single-car crash on Granby Street, Virginia

Two females died in an overnight single-car accident in Norfolk, Virginia.

Officials said they received the call that came around 1:50 a.m. for a single-vehicle accident in the 4200 block of Granby Street.

Crews attended the scene and came in contact with two female passengers suffering from life-threatening injuries. They both were taken to a local hospital where they were declared dead.

The driver of the vehicle was not injured and a third passenger had small injuries.

Identities of women are yet to be revealed.

The crash is being investigated.
