Two dead, two injured after multi-vehicle crash in Sacramento County

Two people died and two others were injured, after a multi-vehicle crash in Sacramento County on Wednesday morning.

The crash took place on State Route 160, south of 3 Mile Slough, at about 9:01 a.m. when the driver of a Nissan crossed and side-swiped a Toyota traveling in the opposite direction. After that, the Toyota spun after that a GMC crashed into the passenger side of the Nissan.

The driver of the Nissan and his passenger died in the crash.

The driver of the Toyota and the driver of the GMC were admitted to the hospital with minor injuries.

California Highway Patrol is investigating the crash.
