Two were killed on Sunday morning after a car crash on State Route 99E just north of Los Molinos.

A person was driving a 2009 Ford Focus northbound on SR 99E just north of Butler Street at about 7:35 a.m. Sunday.

Another car was operated by Nicholas Hall, 39, of Anderson, who was driving a 2019 Isuzu southbound. Behind Hall was the woman, driving a 2007 Nissan Sentra, according to California Highway Patrol.

The Ford entered the southbound lane, directly into the path of the Isuzu after which the Isuzu tried to move towards the southbound shoulder to prevent a crash, but the Ford crashed with the left side of the Isuzu. The Ford kept traveling north within the southbound lane and crashed head-on with the Nissan.

The drivers of the Ford and Nissan were pronounced dead at the scene.

Hall and his passenger had no injuries.

Identities of the deceased were yet to be released.
