Two killed after head-on car crash in north Houston

Two people are dead after a head-on crash involving multiple vehicles in north Houston, Texas.

The crash took place on Monday at 7:10 p.m. in the 11600 block of Bannister Lane when a Dodge truck was heading westbound on Little York, and the driver lost control, then crossed the median and hit a Kia, which then hit a tow truck that was towing another car.

A witness had called 911 upon hearing the crash.

A woman was ejected from the Dodge truck and was pronounced dead at the scene.

The driver of the truck was hospitalized for minor injuries.

The second person killed was the driver of the Kia.

The crash is currently under investigation by the Houston Police Department (HPD).
