Two people died after a multi-vehicle crash on I-459 in Bessemer, Alabama on Thursday morning.
The crash took place just before 8:30 p.m. on the northbound lanes near mile marker 6 when one of the vehicles crossed the median and hit the second vehicle traveling in the opposite direction.
Both victims were females. They were in separate vehicles, according to Bessemer Police Department.
The crash resulted in road closures. The roads were reopened afterward.
The identities of the victims were yet to be released.
