A man and a child were killed and two others were going through serious injuries after a multi-vehicle crash in East Fort Worth, Texas on Wednesday morning, officials say.

The crash occurred near the intersection of East Berry Street and Campbell Street, about one block east of U.S. Highway 287, right before afternoon.

MedStar Mobile Healthcare at first reported that an adult was killed at the scene and that a child and two other adult men were injured in the crash.

At 12:15 p.m., the Fort Worth Fire Department confirmed a second death and that two others were in serious condition.

The Tarrant County Medical Examiner’s Office identified only one fatality, Zaleon Redwine, who would have turned 2-years old in May.

More identities are yet to be revealed.

The investigation into the incident is ongoing.
