Two killed, four injured after car crash in Beaverton

Two were killed and four others were critically injured after a two-car crash in Beaverton, Oregon on Wednesday.

Injured involved a Washington County Sheriff’s Office deputy.

Beaverton police were notified of the crash just before 12:30 a.m.

The crash took place when a Nissan Altima was driving southbound, ran a red light and hit a car of the deputy.

Two people in the Nissan, were pronounced dead at the scene.

They have been identified as Matthew Amaya, 17, and Juan Pacheco Aguilera, 16.

The Beaverton School District said the five of these individuals attended Southridge High School.

The deputy, identified as Michael Trotter was in critical but stable condition at a hospital.

Beaverton Police Department investigated the crash.
