Two killed, one injured after car crash in Bradenton

Two people were killed and one person was injured after a single-vehicle crash on Sunday morning in Bradenton, Florida.

The crash took place on 17th street west and 2nd Avenue east when a 31-year-old driver from was driving with two passengers, a male passenger, 35, and a female passenger, 32.

The crash took place when the sedan was approaching the intersection with 2nd Avenue East. At 1:11:00 AM the driver could not control his vehicle and crashed with a chain-link fence before striking a concrete electrical pole.

The driver of the sedan and the male passenger were both pronounced dead at the scene.

They were not using seatbelts.

Florida Highway Patrol is investigating the crash.
