A Dodge Ram driven by a 74-year-old identified as Devere Clinton was headed Northbound on Highway 61 when a southbound Ford Fusion tried to make a turn in front of the truck.

The truck struck into that car, and both vehicles went off the road and ended up in the ditch.

The identities of the two dead haven’t been released yet.

Clinton was admitted to the hospital.

Ervin Miller, 20, was also admitted to the hospital.
