Volvo S60 & V60 Polestar shown in Chicago, have 345 bhp

by SpeedLux

Volvo has recently announced its plans to offer the S60 and V60 Polestar in the United States.

Having displayed at the ongoing Chicago Auto Show, the models are equipped with features that include an aerodynamic body kit, a stainless steel sports exhaust system and exclusive 20-inch alloy wheels. Other notable features of the cars include Brembo brakes and a sport-tuned suspension with stiffer springs and Öhlins shock absorbers.

Talking about the power, motivation is provided by a turbocharged 3.0-liter six-cylinder engine that generates an output of 345 hp (257 kW) and 369 lb-ft (500 Nm) of torque. It is further mated to a six-speed automatic transmission and an all-wheel drive system which enables them to achieve the acceleration from 0-60 mph (0-96 kmph) in just 4.7 seconds before hitting an electronically limited top speed of 155 mph (250 kmph).

The S60 and V60 Polestar will go on sale in June this year and their production would be limited to only 120 units and will be offered only in the United States.
