Volvo V60 Wagon Race Car Teased

by SpeedLux

In the Latest news, it has been reportedly said that, a race car from Volvo would be revealed at the Sao Paulo Motor Show. The Volvo V60 Racing car will be based on the V60 wagon which will be a tribute to the classic 850 model race cars which once used to race in the British Touring Car Championship (BTCC) back in the 1990s.

In 1994 Formula One driver Jan Lammers and Rickard Rydell were behind the wheels of the Volvo 850 Wagon race car, which was a front-wheel drive car, powered by a 2.0-liter, five-cylinder with 280HP. The largely blue and white paint scheme seen on the 850 BTCC racers is being teased in this V60 Racing photo, with hints that there maybe a splash of Yellow colour along with the other colours.
