A 37-year-old Medford woman died in a three-car crash Sunday morning on Interstate 5 in Josephine County, Oregon.

The crash took place about 11:15 a.m. near milepost 67.

Police suspect poor visibility from rain and fog was a factor in the accident, but state police are investigating further. All three vehicles were headed southbound.

Denise Watts, who was driving a Toyota Sienna, did not survive her injuries, police said.

Rolland Wytcherley, 85, and his passenger, Maria Wytcherley, 72, both of Wolf Creek, were admitted to an hospital, police said.

Wendy Lynn, 58, of Grants Pass, was driving the third car, a Dodge Avenger. Lynn and her passenger were not harmed.

Oregon State Police, Rural Metro Fire, and Josephine County Sheriff’s Office, provided their service to deal with the collision.
