Worthersee: Audi A1 R18 competition package debuts

by SpeedLux

Audi has introduced a latest competition package for the A1 at the ongoing Wörthersee 2013.

The R18 competition package is named after the R18 e-tron Quattro and the changes are purely cosmetic and shares little with the Le Mans winning race car.

Talking about the exteriors, the car has been equipped with features such as red and gray accents, “378″ badging, a unique tailgate-mounted spoiler, a front lip spoiler and attractive alloy wheels with black accents.

Certain limited changes have been made to interiors as well such as special floor mats and a unique center console that mimics the exterior’s design.

The company declined to reveal the details of pricing, but said the R18 package is a part of the Audi’s plan to offer new customization kits for the A1 models twice a year.
