One person was killed and 7 others transported to nearby hospitals following a two-car crash Sunday at a Coconut Creek intersection in Florida.
Coconut Creek Police said the crash occurred at 6:44 p.m. at Sample Road and Northwest 42nd Avenue.
A damaged SUV sitting in the street and an overturned car could be found in the scene.
Sample Road was closed in both directions between Lyons Road and the Florida Turnpike for hours as officers investigated what resulted in the deadly accident.
