2011 Chevrolet Corvette Z06R GT3

by Alex

Both Jersey Shore and Justin Bieber were but unknowns a few times back. One an unknown place and the other a name respectively. A&As Racing had put up the Corvette C06 for a test way back in 2008 and that was the place the race took place, with Bieber donning the driver’s cap. It is after a gap of three years that Corvette would once again be participating in a Japanese racing event this time. A GT300 would be fitted with the Corvette Z06R GT3 and would be driven by Masahiro Matsunaga, Kazuyoshi Okamura, and Atsushi Tanaka. Tomei would be looking after the maintenance aspect of the car during the season.

Even though details of the car is not yet known but pictures received indicate a lot of promise. There has been modification to the exterior and interior include a huge rear wing as well as a roll cage to give protection to the car during the race. The aerodynamic aspects of the car have been done up and in all probability done so to win some of the competitive events.
