2013 Jeep Grand Cherokee Trailhawk

by SpeedLux

We at Speedlux had told you that Jeep had launched 2 new models at the 2012 Easter Jeep Safari, 2013 Grand Cherokee Trailhawk, along the Moab Edition.

So coming to the GC aka Grand Cherokee Trailhawk, It is the most awe-inspiring, most extraordinarily capable Muscle ever conceived, that has just been unleashed.

Specifications-

The new Trailhawk is as much similar to the previous line of Grand Cherokee, with a regular four wheel drive. Whereas the engine is concerned, it is confirmed that the Grand Cherokee Trailhawk comes in with 3.6Liter Pentastar V-6 or Hemi V-8 engine. The Trailhawk comes standard with the Grand Cherokee’s Quadra-Lift adjustable air suspension and Selec-Terrain traction control setup that offers up preset driveline and suspension settings for sand or mud, snow, rocks, or “sport” situations, plus an “auto” setting for those who just want to let the computer sort things out. Trailhawks powered by the V-8 come with a rear electronic limited-slip differential, while V-6 models do without the stiff rear difference.

On the exterior it has rugged sculpted exterior, which comes of with the signature Jeep Brand’s Seven-Slot Grille which acquires a vigorous new persona on Trailhawk, when matched with High Gloss Mineral Gray paint and Black Overland. Also the Trailhawk gets red tow hooks and badges, headlights with black bezels, and dark gray wheels, mirrors, and tailgate trim.

The exterior’s killer looks have an matte-finished black and red hood stripe and a pair of rock rails mounted beneath the rocker panels. Well Jeep will offer the 2013 Jeep Grand Cherokee Trailhawk in only six colors: Bright White, Black Overland, Mineral Gray, Winter Chill, Maximum Steel, and Deep Cherry Red. The seats are wrapped in a combination of leather and suede stitched together with contrasting red thread and topped off with a Trailhawk logo high up on the seatbacks.

Well the most jaw dropping detail is the Trailhawk’s 18-inch Goodyear Silent Armor tires boast “Kevlar-reinforced sidewalls”, can u imagine, its 5 times more stronger than STEEl!

I don’t know about you all, but this stuff sounds really Awesome to me! so that means it would actually prevent the tires from getting deep cuts and punctures! No harm can be done to the Jeep’s rocker panels or underbody, well thanks to it’s rock rails and suite of skid plates.

The 2013 Jeep Grand Cherokee Trailhawk will go on sale in this October.

Pricing has not yet been finalized, but Jeep representatives expect that the special Grand Cherokee to start around $42,000 in V-6 form.
That’s a little more expensive than the 2013 Grand Cherokee Limited.

Well lets wait for some more updates on pricing, and much more details and as soon as we come to know we will definitely let you know!
