2013 Renault Clio Shows Its New Front For The First Time, in Camouflage [Spy Shots]

by Mike David

In recent days the Alps have been pretty shaken from the noise of cars brought there for various tests. Remember that the 2012 Skoda Superb Facelift and the 2013 Hyundai Santa Fe have been caught during testing by spy photographers in the highest mountains of Europe? Well, they were not alone. A mule for the new Renault Clio was spotted wearing the new front end together with the old body.

This is the first time we see the front and even if its still camoflaged we can make out some of the new look. Despite the fact that in the Alps is already plenty of snow, that didnt stop the Renault guys to perform the brake testing with the Clio.

Renault says that it has chosen to offer the new Clio only as a five-door incarnation thanks to profitability. The interior will come with a higher level of quality and will be focused on the driver. The French car maker wants to transform the Clio into a icon, something that could rival cars like Mini, so the new Clio will also come with a lot of customization options, allowing you to make it your own.

We expect the new Clio to debut at the  Paris Car Show in September 2012.
