2014 Audi A1 facelift spied in Sweden ahead of possible Paris debut

by SpeedLux

A prototype of the upcoming Audi A1 facelift has been caught on camera undergoing winter testing in Sweden.

Audi had introduced the hot S1 & S1 Sportback earlier this week at the ongoing 84th Geneva Motor Show and so it’s not very difficult to imagine how the lesser A1 facelift will look like. The moderately redesigned entry-level Audi will come with features such as S1’s headlights and taillights, along with A3-inspired front and rear bumpers. In typical Audi style, the changes will be subtle in the interiors as well but we expect to find more metallic accents.

Talking about the engine lineup, it will be largely carried over, albeit we can expect from some minor tweaks resulting in lower fuel consumption and CO2 emissions and at the same time also improving the performance of the model.

The 2014 Audi A1 facelift can be expected to be introduced at the 2014 Paris Motor Show that will be held in October before going on sale in late 2014 or early next year.
